I've seen the same 3 fantasy books on my feed 20+ times this week and frankly, I'm bored. So, here are some that I've been super excited about but haven't seen on quite as many social media pages. All of these are published (except one which comes out next week 4.15) so you can get them immediately!

Also, perks of subscribing to my Bindery page? Getting 5 more fantasy book recs than those folks who only follow me on insta.

The River Has Roots

A haunting fairytale novella from the co-author of This Is How You Lose the Time War. This one is about two sisters and love after death.

Greenteeth

A cozy fantasy retelling of the fable of Jenny Greenteeth. Found family, monstrous goodness, in the same vein as Someone You Can Build a Nest In by John Wiswell.

Nightweaver

This is a YA romantasy novel described as Bridgerton meets Pirates of the Caribbean. Courting, drama, politics, and sea monsters. We need more pirate fantasy books!!

The Prince Without Sorrow

This is the first in a new political-fantasy trilogy inspired by Mauryan Empire of Ancient India. Witches, princes, and heavy-dose of revenge. This one has a romantic subplot that's more sweet than spice.

The Serpent Called Mercy

I'm sorry, but you had me at The Witcher meets Squid Game. This one is a pulpy, monster-heavy adventure that is just plain fun.

Bindery Exclusive Recs:

Where Shadows Meet

Teen vampire romantasy about four queer Black women. This one combines inspiration from Greek, Roman, Egyptian mythology and the real life story of Queen Nzinga of Angola.

A Palace Near the Wind

Ai Jiang is one of the most talented writers I've ever read. She's gonna be big y'all. Trust me. A Palace Near the Wind combines traditional fantasy an science fiction elements to explore themes of colonization and oppression.

This Monster of Mine

Dark romantasy inspired by ancient Rome with a diverse cast of queer and disabled characters! Let me just tell you... the villain gets the girl!!!

Faithbreaker

Okay, so y'all are clearly still sleeping on the Godkiller series. It's fine, but no, it's really not. This series is my everything and if you weren't driving to the bookstore on release day to get this one, we're not the same.

The Geographers Map to Romance

The newest book in the world of The Ornithologist's Field Guide to Love follows two rival professors and centers a failed marriage of convenience. PS: He fell first, but won't admit it. And there's only one bed.
